Hazmat & Rescue was created to take the powerful in-person training content, package it in an engaging and fun way, and deliver it through a mobile-optimized training platform. PHRT and its instructors work tirelessly to record new content that is essential to your job and give you the critical skills needed to advance your career and save lives.

Who teaches these classes?

Hazmat & Rescue instruction comes with decades of experience from the instructors. Our instructors have experienced multiple careers and backgrounds in the realm of fire and emergency response with a focus on Hazmat and Technical Rescue. Visit our About page to learn more.

Who is it for?

Hazmat & Rescue is for emergency services personnel who seek ongoing education and increase their personal skills. The site is used by department chiefs, administrators, trainers, instructors, and individual emergency personnel. Everyone is welcome to the content.

What does it cost?

Costs will be associated at a per class level and will include all the content for that class.

What if my agency doesn’t have an account?

Students can take classes at any time as long as payment is submitted (using a personal credit card).

Can I take classes online or in-person?

While this site is created for online training (through desktop computers, tablets and smartphones) corresponding local training exists for in-person education. Check with your local instructors to determine the in-person training available.e

Does this count towards my continuing education?

Yes, though each student is responsible to confirm the details of the requirements. PHRT makes no guarantees on whether your agency certifies the content on this site for continuing education.
